Monday, the developer revealed that they're gearing up to launch the closed beta-Heroes of the Storm. First off, PC players across Mac and Windows will get some of the Ultimate Evil Edition PS4 and Xbox One owners have been enjoying. One such feature they’re hoping to bring over is Apprentice Mode. Patch 2.1.2, numbered Patch 1.0.6 for PS4, adds Ancient items. These items drop in Torment difficulty, with higher drop rates for higher difficulty.



Big feature changes are in the works as well. The Heroes of the Storm development team said at BlizzCon that key features will be updated in the future. Two leagues of Ranked Play will be introduced to allow players to find competition of equal skill. In all ranked modes, teams will alternate between drafting their characters.
